Only on the rice processing production line, from raw materials into the warehouse, impurities removal, to grain of rice after stone removal, grain husking, screening, rice milling, polishing, color selection, metering and bagging, all were controlled by computers. All links were automated and only two staff monitoring systems were required.
"Automation requires people to operate and adjust on site. Intelligence only needs to set parameters on the computer." Li Junfei, director of the production department of Hun Sen Company, said that after the upgrade, labor intensity was greatly reduced and the working environment was also improved. The operator does not have to patrol frequently in the roar of the machine, just sit in a comfortable and clean monitoring room and switch the silo with a click of the mouse. On the big screen, the remaining warehouse capacity is clear at a glance and is no longer estimated by experience. Insufficient feeding will be warned 30 seconds in advance. Even if manual treatment is not timely, there will be a flow buffer function. When the feeding is empty, the machine will automatically stop and wait to prevent scattered brown rice from being broken by the machine. This can not only reduce the broken rice rate, but also save energy.
Before the voice fell, the monitoring room sounded a buzzer, and the red alarm light flashed on the top of the cabinet. The staff calmly walked to the computer to check. In the production line flow chart on the screen, a rice mill was automatically offline and displayed relevant fault parameters. According to the map, two staff members cooperated. One found the corresponding control components from 17 cabinets to reset, and the other went to the production workshop to check the fault and restart the machine. The faulty machine returned to normal operation within 5 minutes.
"The most important thing is that the rate of broken rice has been reduced." Li Junfei said happily that the network interconnection of all kinds of grain machinery equipment has greatly reduced the processing energy consumption and increased the whole rice rate by 2 percentage points, "equivalent to 100 grains of rice, with 2 grains less broken." The value of whole refined rice is much higher than that of broken rice, which effectively improves the economic benefits.
To detract is to increase production. It is understood that at present, the average rice yield of japonica rice in China is about 65%, and that of indica rice is about 63%. After this intelligent system, the rice yield increased to 66.5 percent for japonica rice and 64.5 percent for indica rice. As one of the most important rice producing areas in China, Hubei Province has a annual output of about 19 million tons of rice, accounting for 8.8 percent of the national output. If the loss is reduced by 1.5 percentage points, it will be an extra 285000 tons of grain.

Zhou Jin said that modeling is currently under way, and the prototype of the "production link" of the digital twin factory has been initially set up.
